Need a Real Estate Broker? Well I have the perfect one for you. I just recently sold my house on 3rd Street in Carroll Park. It was far from the easiest of transactions, fraught with all kinds of unimaginable and unforeseeable events and my realtor Mike Norton, couldn’t have been more helpful or professional or knowledgeable, navigating every twist and turn with incredible professionalism.

We started seriously looking for a home in the beginning of April 2011. We love homes in the historical area of Long Beach and found MIKLE NORTON. He is an expert in all of the Long Beach areas.
Being a first time home owner can be pretty scary. Luckily my husband Dave and I found Mikle Norton. We didn’t realize a real estate agent could work so hard for a couple who didn’t have much to begin with. He set us up with a great Loan Officer at Bank of America who sat with us for almost three (3) hours explaining everything about financially owning a home. We were being educated on the reality of having a home mortgage and what we could actually afford because our loan could be bigger than our monthly wallet.

It was a great set up because the communication between the bank, Mike, and us was prompt and painless. We saw so many properties that they started to blend together but Mike knew what we wanted and was trying to help us explore possibilities. He didn’t give us the run-around either, he was honest, real, and most of all trustworthy. He knew the market and understood financing.
Mike saw homes with us and without us. When we couldn’t make it to see a house he would make YouTube videos of them for us to see. You have to understand that we were very active about buying a house so he didn’t waste our time and we didn’t waste his. After his morning coffee Mike is ready to get rolling on finding you a home. If he felt we needed to act fast he made suggestions, if he felt there was a good deal he let us know, if he thought we wouldn’t like a neighborhood/area he explained it to us without negativity or discrimination. Because he knows so much about homes he lended us some helpful advice on what kind of work we would have ahead as well.
When we were going through the closing process he was with us every step of the way, everyday! He had a great home inspector that was extremely kind and detailed. Every piece of paper, signature, warning, etc. was explained to us in great detail everyday so that we could better understand what we were doing. He is knows his areas very well, each and every street! He treated us as if we were his first priority. Like I said, first time home buying can be scary, not with Mikle Norton. We feel like pros now! We are so happy in our beautiful home in Long Beach and I can’t believe how lucky we were to have found Mike. We will be calling him back when we sell it too. I hope this review helps other buyers.

We knew Mikle personally and he is the first realtor we thought of when we decided to buy a new home in Long Beach last year. We found the home we wanted and Mikle made it happen. He stayed in close contact with us, the mortgage provider and the seller, keeping us well-informed every step of the way. Looking back, the home purchase process was almost uneventful since it went so smoothly. He provided very sound advice and was extremely professional and thorough.
Where Mikle really excelled though was the sale of our old home. We weren’t really interested in renting the property and we explained this to Mikle. We seemed to have very few people come by to look at the house. We were getting ready to become landlords, but Mikle didn’t give up. He worked incredibly hard to find qualified buyers and he did! Our home sold in four months; which I think is amazing during these economic times.
I highly recommend Mikle. He’s a truly honest and innovative professional.

Sold a home in 2010.
Mikle Norton helped me sell my condo in Long Beach, CA. His knowledge of Long Beach, CA was very impressive. Mikle is definitely the hardest working realtor in town. He gave me very sound advice and was very thorough and professional. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy or sell a property, whether it is a single family home or condo.

Sold a home in 2011.
Mikle is a very thorough and professional agent. He helped my wife with the sale of her condo in Long Beach, CA. I was so impressed with his work ethic that I asked to him to help sell my house in Hawthorne as well. Mikle has gone out of his way to make sure that EVERYTHING is done right the first time. I would recommend Mikle to anyone interested in selling there home, or having him represent them in buying a home as well. You will not regret having him as your agent.

Listed, but didn’t sell my Condo home in 2011 in Bluff Park, Long Beach, CA.
We recently had our condo listed with Mike. He is a very knowledgeable and professional agent, who uses some tools that really help get your place noticed. Mike is a very personable guy as well, whose attitude makes you feel like you hired the right person for the job!

Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $550K in Bluff Heights, Long Beach, CA.
My wife and I met Mikle three years ago when we were looking to purchase a home in the Long Beach Area. Mikle was holding an open-house for a bank owned property. From the moment we met Mikle, he was professional, honest, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. He worked extremely hard to represent us, and to broker the best deal to purchase this property.
During the past three years, Mikle has continued to work with us, providing valuable input to the extent of the re-model that we are undertaking, to ensure that we receive the most benefit from the dollars invested into the home.
It is nice to know that we can call Mikle and he is always eager and available to help.
As long as we live within the vicinity of which Mikle works, he will be our life-long realtor. He really is the “hardest working realtor” I know.

Bought a home in 2009.
Mikle Norton is very personable and easy to work with. He showed us multiple homes and we submitted offers, including counteroffers, on most of them. While looking through homes Mikle is very active. He peeked inside attics, under houses, and in closets. He was very honest about each listing and did not hide/overlook potential problems with the houses (i.e. maintenance or other issues). From that aspect he helped us get an idea of the true cost of ownership. During the negotiation process for the house we ended up purchasing and still currently reside in, we felt like he was on our side and helped us to negotiate a better price. If we sell our house or purchase another house, we will be sure to use Mikle Norton.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mikle on the successful sale of my condominium in the Bluff Heights Historical District in Long Beach. Having bought and sold numerous properties in a wide range of real estate markets and economic conditions over the years I wanted to acknowledge Mikle’s unique combination of experience, diligence and professionalism and strongly recommend his services.
Given our current economic challenges I was looking for a realtor that fully understood all aspects of the real estate sales and finance markets and had a particularly deep understanding of the unique nature of my neighborhood. The fact that Mikle has lived and worked in the community for may years gave him the unique ability to put together a marketing plan for my property that resulted in a successful closing within a very brief time window at a transaction price well above my listed asking amount.
If you are planning to buy or sell property in Long Beach you should make a point of speaking to Mikle before committing to an agent. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
